Акционерното дружество “Завод за шлифовъчни машини“ (“ЗШМ“ АД) е създадено през 1968 година в град Асеновград. В началото на съществуването си фирмата е специализирана в производството на заточни машини за металорежещи инструменти, като постепенно се внедряват и първите модели шлифовъчни машини.

Grinding Producing Plant JSC was established in 1968 in the town of Asenovgrad. At the beginning the company specialized in the production of sharpening machines for machine-tools which were gradually introduced in the first models of grinding machines. The first grinding machine was exported in 1974. The company has grown and started producing a number of machine models which have proven its quality throughout the years:

Акционерное общество „Завод шлифовальных станков (машин)” („ЗШС” АО) создано в 1968 г. в Асеновграде. В начале своего существования фирма специализировалась на производстве станков для заточки металлорежущих инструментов, постепенно внедряя и первые модели шлифовальных станков. В 1974 г. был осуществлен первый экспорт шлифовального станка. В период расширения своей деятельности заводом внедрены и утверждены следующие модели машин:
